According to Lodgis’ last quarterly data, the rents for furnished properties in Paris are relatively stable compared to this time last year: +1.3%. This figure is consistent with the new rent benchmarks published published a few days ago, which apply from August 1st, 2016, rent benchmarks only change by a very small amount from one year to the next (+1%, on average, for furnished and unfurnished accommodation).

Furthermore, Lodgis illustrates that professional purposes (expatriation, work assignments, meetings, etc.) are the primary reason for moving to Paris (55%), and that furnished rentals are largely taken by foreigners, who occupy two thirds of furnished rentals in Paris (65%).

You can see full details of the quarterly data for furnished rentals on the Lodgis website (in french)..
